Our Story...
Have you ever had an idea while lying in the sand at the beach?  One of those, what I would really like to do is… That is where Raensem was born.

Raensem, pronounced ransom, means the price or payment demanded for release, a redemption from sin and its consequences. Matthew 20:28 says it best. Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

In war, a ransom was often paid when a prisoner was taken by the enemy.  If the opposing group or army was able to meet the demand then that person was released.  They had value!  Ransom also means a redemption from sin and its consequences.  That comes from the death of Jesus. We have all sinned and if justice were to prevail we would all suffer eternally.   God sent His son to be a ransom for us.  He paid the price for our sin, we have value!

Raensem’s mission is to serve God while working with youth of today and tomorrow. Each garment in the Raensem collection is inspired by scripture and designed to inspire the world.  Urban clothing, made in the USA that may cause pause, question and discussion.

We have each been ransomed.  Jesus paid it in full!
